The scope of the health care industry is changing by the minute. The health care professional uses theory and research-based knowledge to provide direct and indirect care to individuals, families, groups, and communities.
In the role as designer, manager, and coordinator of care, health care professionals collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary care teams. The department offers an associates's degree in Registered Professional Nursing and a certificate program in Practical Nursing.
