Flexible Learning at NCCC
eLearning courses give you the opportunity to gain knowledge using current technology with flexible scheduling and learning environment. To see if you are ready for eLearning, take this self-assessment. You will need to have access to a computer with an Internet connection to participate in both online and hybrid (blended) courses. In online courses you can attend class from anywhere as long as you have access to a personal computer with an Internet connection. In hybrid (blended) courses you still get to have on campus class time, but the face-to-face time is reduced. The reduction of class time will be replaced with online activities. You can access your course 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Although you can work at your own pace and choose when to "attend" class, each online course has a definite time-line and weekly deadlines.
Online and Blended Programs
NCCC currently offers both online and blended degree and certificate programs. In online programs you can complete your entire degree without ever coming on campus. In blended programs you can take a majority of the courses online and either come to campus to complete some of the courses or transfer them in from another institution. Upon successful completion of the curriculum requirements, students completing an online or blended certificate or degree at NCCC will be awarded the same credentials as students who participate in on campus degree programs. You can view the online and blended degree and certificate options from the menu above.
