Electronic Learning

eLearning@NCCC offers flexible learning options including complete online degree and certificate programs and online courses where instruction takes place on the Internet, hybrid (blended) courses, which are a mixture of on-campus and online instruction, and web-enhanced classes, where instruction takes place in a classroom but is supported with online materials and activities.
eLearning courses give you the opportunity to gain knowledge using current technology within a flexible learning environment and flexible scheduling. In complete online courses you can attend class from anywhere as long as you have access to a personal computer with an Internet connection. In hybrid (blended) courses you still get to have on campus class time but the on campus face-to-face time is reduced. The reduction of class time will be replaced with online activities. You will need to have access to a computer with an internet connection to participate in both online and hybrid (blended) courses. You can access your course 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Although you can work at your own pace and enjoy a good deal of flexibility concerning when you choose to "attend" class, each online course has a definite timeline and weekly deadlines.
