DUAL ADMISSION AGREEMENT - # UB8C (Part

To Health and Human Services concentration curriculum Guide (Part B)
The following information has been assembled to assist those students
who have been accepted into the Dual Admission program with the University
at Buffalo. By completing the following courses, students
will fulfill the requirements for the NCCC associate degree listed above,
and simultaneously complete credits toward the first two years of the
University at Buffalo baccalaureate degree listed above. If you
have any questions, contact your NCCC advisor, the NCCC Student Development
Center or the University at Buffalo Admissions Office (phone 645-6421

DUAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Completion of A.A. degree in
Human Services including the courses listed on curriculum guide #UB8C
(part B) with a minimum recomputed cumulative GPA of 2.0
overall, and a minimum recomputed GPA of 2.0 overall and "C-"
or better in each major course. Dual Admission students must meet the
UB Admission requirements including GPA, in place at the time they apply
to the dual admissions program and as stated in their letter of dual
admission from UB's Office of Admission. Refer to the UB catalog or

for specific information regarding recomputation of GPA. |
Satisfactory (S) graded courses cannot be used for major or prerequisite
requirements. |
All high school AP credit or other exam credit will be independently
reevaluated by UB (see UB's exam credit evaluation table on the web
at http://tas.buffalo.edu/altexam/index.php |
SUNY GENERAL EDUCATION 2000 REQUIREMENTS (for students who
started at a SUNY school in the Fall 2000 semester or later). The State
University of New York's General Education Requirement requires baccalaureate
degree candidates, as a condition of graduation, to complete a General
Education program of no fewer than 30 credit hours specifically designed
to achieve the student learning outcomes in ten knowledge areas, as
specified below (codes in parentheses are used by NCCC to identify appropriate

Community
Colleges are not bound by the 30 credit hour requirement; however, students
who plan to start at a community college and then transfer to a SUNY
school to earn their baccalaureate degree should complete as many general
education courses as they can while they are at the community college. | |||

Completed SUNY General
Education requirements submitted to UB on a SUNY GETA transcript will
waive parallel UB General Education requirements. UB's General
