{ Foundation Elects New Board of Directors }

SANBORN, N.Y. (Dec. 1, 2008) — The Niagara County Community College Foundation, Inc. announced today that it has elected 14 members to its 2008-2009 Board of Directors.

Deborah Brewer, manager for the chamber & association business division at BlueCross BlueShield of WNY, was named chairperson of the NCCC Foundation Board. Brewer joined the NCCC Foundation Board in 2001 and she is the past chair of the Scholarship Committee.

Norman Sinclair, retired president of First Niagara Bank after 52 years of service, has been appointed as a Lifetime Member of the NCCC Foundation Board of Directors. The Lifetime Membership is reserved for long-standing members of the board of directors or staff members in honor of their commitment and is exempt from an expired term.

Sinclair has been on the NCCC Foundation Board since its inception in 1987, serving in many roles including chairman. In addition to his Lifetime Membership, he currently holds the position of secretary for the NCCC Foundation Board of Directors and chairman of the Planned Giving Committee.

Ronald Winkley, a 2003 NCCC Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, has been elected as the first vice chairman of the NCCC Foundation Board of Directors. Winkley is the retired Lewiston Police Chief and currently is an instructor at Niagara University.

Retired U.S. Army Air Corps Colonel Silas Molyneaux was named second vice chairman and Frank Polino of First Niagara Financial Group was tabbed treasurer. Named as members-at-large were William Bevacqua, retired, Sdao Furniture; David DiCamillo, DiCamillo Baking Co., Inc.; and Jerald Wolfgang, WNY Regional Education Center.

The board has elected the following new directors: Dr. Jeffrey Mattiuzzo, Eastern Copy Service; Rose Ann Roberts, NCCC; and Kurt Schuler, Whiting Door Manufacturing. Re-elected directors include: Past Board Chairman Paul Churder, DDS; Peter Certo, Certo Brothers Distributing; Robert Gilsinan, Barker Central School; and David Karwick, KeyBank.

Retiring members are Ronald Winter of the NYS Supreme Court, James Hagenbach of Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems and Louise Cadwalader of Trek, Inc.
