ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES
Niagara County Community College (NCCC) accepts credit for Advanced Placement (AP) courses when a student scores
three (3) or higher on an Advanced Placement examination. In some cases, students must contact induvidual departments
to learn how their AP credits are applied to a specific program. For example, NCCC ordinarily awards only
elective credits for Advanced Placement courses in Art. To be considered for credit in Drawing I, a student must
present a portfolio to the NCCC Art Department faculty.
If there are any questions regarding AP credits and how they are applied to a program, a student may contact either
a specific division in which a program is housed, or the the Transcript Evaluator. For more information about
Advanced Placement course evaluation, contact the Transcript Evaluator's office at (716)614-6252.
