Collaboration of Art (Drawing II) and Poetry (American Lit Since 1865)
A collaboration between Bud Jacobs' drawing students and Denise David's literature students led to the following experimentation with image and language. The literature students wrote poetry to explore the creative act of the poets studied in their class; the art students used the student-written poems as a beginning point for another kind of experimental writing, one that explores the intersection of the written and the visual.
