A Message from the Athletic Director, Bob McKeown
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support of the many activities and athletic programs here at Niagara County Community College. Whether we are parents, teachers, staff or simply Thunderwolves supporters, we are proud of our student-athletes as they dedicate and commit themselves to their chosen athletic endeavors.
We encourage participation in athletics because it provides our students with important lessons for life such as teamwork, self-discipline, courage and fortitude. By offering a wide variety of programs, sports, and activities our students can find a place where they can apply their personal skills and talents as our institution continues its rich tradition. Our community has high standards in regards to sportsmanship and conduct and we expect our students and coaches to uphold these standards at all times.
In my role as NCCC Athletic Director, my hope is to assist and guide our student-athletes and coaches to achieve their goals both on and off the playing field. As a former NCCC student-athlete and former NCCC Softball and Women’s Basketball Coach, I can personally tell you that our institution is a fantastic place to get a quality education and continue your playing career.
Again, I appreciate your support of NCCC Athletics, if you have any questions; please feel free to contact me at any time. I am looking forward to seeing the NCCC Thunderwolves Athletic program continue to grow in the future and I look forward to seeing our student-athletes grow as individuals as well.
