Men's Golf - Head Coach
Alma Mater: Erie Community College and Mars Hill College
Matthew Oleski, NCCC Intramural-Recreation Coordinator, is entering his second year as Head Golf Coach at Niagara County Community College.
Last season, with a shortened roster of four, the Thunderwolves golf team had one All-Conference player and finished with a 352.9 team stroke average which landed the T-Wolves 10th place in Region III.
The 2013-14 will be another step forward for Coach Oleski and his hope in building the program. He has devoted a lot of time this off-season scouting and recruiting at various tournaments to be able to bring in some of the best talent throughout Western New York. The Thunderwolves will have two returning sophomores, along with seven new comers to add to their roster.
Prior to taking the position at NCCC; Oleski spent a lot of time working alongside Jason Marrano; a three year Assistant Golf Professional studying as a PGA apprentice out of Saint Leo University, FL. He has played golf throughout Western North Carolina, New York and Canada.
The West Seneca native comes from Mars Hill University, NC where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Education with a concentration in Physical Education and Health. He currently resides in Kenmore, NY.
