ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Thunderwolves finished the fall semester in style, winning a pair of games at the Genesee Community College Cougar Classic this past weekend. NCCC, ranked a program-best No. 17 in the latest NJCAA Div. II National Poll, is now 13-0.

In the event's opening game, a 70-56 win over Community College of Rhode Island, Merrick Rowland had 18 points and eight rebounds. Jesse DeWaters had 16 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, while Bre Cason added 10 points and 11 rebounds,

In a 79-58 win over Durham (Ont.), Rowland had 23 points, six rebounds and three assists. Tanisha Moyer finished with 23 points and seven rebounds, while DeWaters added 14 points, seven assists and six boards. Cason chipped in with 10 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three blocks.

Rowland and DeWaters were named to the All-Tournament team. NCCC is next in action Dec. 30 at Eastern Florida State.
