Women's Volleyball - Head Coach

Volleyball Coach Joe Daigler has had great success as the Head Coach for the Niagara County Community College.
Daigler has led the squad to the NJCAA National Tournament twice now during his reign. In 2009 the Thundewolves ranked 4th in the Nation and in 2011, where Daigler was named Region III Coach of the Year, the team finsihed in 6th. Daigler’s reign claims the first and second Region III volleyball title for NCCC.
Prior to joining the program, Daigler was a Division II men’s Assistant Coach at Southampton College of Long Island University. As a four-year starter, Daigler was ranked multiple times in the top 10 for kills, hitting percentage and points per game. He was also awarded multiple honors from his team and the college, including rookie of the year, offensive and defensive player of the year, MVP and male athlete of the year.
The two-time Empire State gold medalist, took part in many development camps, along with being a private coach for high school player in the neighboring high schools while attending college.
Daigler, a North Tonawanda native, graduated with a degree in business and is now working at Materion in Wheatfield. He and his spouse Monica now reside in Wheatfield with there 2 children, Hudson and Anniston.
