Bellinger Named Vice President at NCCC

Niagara County Community College President James P. Klyczek
has announced the hiring of Dr. Eunice Bellinger as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at NCCC. Dr. Bellinger, who started her position with NCCC on June 3, most recently worked as the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost at Genesee Community College. Previously she held positions as the Interim Provost at Massachusetts Bay Community College, CAO and COO at the Long Island Center of Empire State College, Founding Dean of the Graduate Program in Education at Abu Dhabi University, and Dean of Liberal Arts at American University in Dubai.
"We are so happy to welcome Dr. Bellinger to this important position for the campus," said Dr. James P. Klyczek, NCCC President. "She is a proven leader in academics and we are delighted and fortunate to have her bring her knowledge and experience to NCCC."
Dr. Bellinger has nearly 23 years of teaching experience including Professor of Social Sciences at Camp Doha, Kuwait (University of Maryland) where she received the Stanley Drazek Teaching Excellence Award in 2001; Associate Professor in the College of Education at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait; and associate Professor of Social Science at SUNY Alfred.
"I am looking forward to working with the faculty and staff to ensure Niagara County Community College offers premier programs and academic services to meet the needs of students," Bellinger said.
Dr. Bellinger has a Ph.D. in the Sociology of Education and an Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology from SUNY Buffalo, as well as a B.S. in Personnel Management from Niagara University.
