NCCC Alumni Seeking Nominations for Annual Award

The Niagara County Community College Alumni Association is seeking nominations from the public for the Distinguished Alumni Award which recognizes the achievements of former students of the College. The award is presented to outstanding NCCC alumni for their community involvement, professional accomplishments, and dedicated service to NCCC and Western New York. The award will be presented at the NCCC Foundation, Inc. Scholarship Gala to be held on October 18, 2014 at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute.
Photographs of the 69 previous Distinguished Alumni recipients with a brief personal biography are displayed in the NCCC Alumni Gallery, located on the first floor of the Henrietta G. Lewis Library Building on the NCCC Sanborn campus, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, NY.
Any former student who has completed 50 or more credit hours at NCCC is eligible to be nominated for this award. Nomination applications are available to download at http://www.niagaracc.suny.edu/pdf/alumni/distinguishedalumni.pdf. An application can be picked up at the NCCC Foundation Office in Room A-161 or you may request one by calling the Alumni Office at (716) 614-5910. All materials are due in the Alumni Office by May 1, 2014 to be eligible for consideration for the award.
