In addition to workplace safety training, Niagara County Community College
offers a wide range of EPA asbestos and lead programs in our state-of-the-art, hands-on laboratory.
This hands-on training will require students to work in simulated workplaces utilizing all the protective equipment
necessary to perform their work. From building decontamination chambers to controlling a hazardous release, employees
learn by participation.
When necessary, we also test individuals to prove proficiency so that they can be certified by the US EPA, the
Department of Transportation, and the New York State Department of Labor.
