Academic Regulations
US Immigration regulations require all F-1 students (except commuting Canadian students) to be enrolled as full-time students with a minimum of 12 credit hours each Fall and Spring semester. You must also complete a minimum of 12 credits hours each Fall and Spring semester with passing completion grades. You are not required to register for
courses during the summer months. Failure to register for and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours will subject you to deportation from this country.
Students who do not complete the required credit hours and whose grade point falls below required average will be placed on academic probation. Students who fail to increase the number of successfully complete credits hours and raise their grade point average will be dismissed from the College. See the College Catalog for a full description of the College's Academic Standards. For students interested in Distance Learning courses, students may register for no more than 1 [one] Distance Learning course per semester as part of their credit hours.
