Interlibrary Loan

The Henrietta G. Lewis Library makes a concerted effort to collect books and periodicals that support the curricula at NCCC. Most of the time students will be able to find enough information for their research needs right in our collection.

When we do not own material that students need for scholarly research, or when faculty members need books or articles that we are unable to collect, we turn to Interlibrary Loan.

You may request a book or a copy of a periodical article through the ILLiad system and receive it within a week or two. Sometimes items may arrive more quickly, sometimes they may take longer. There is no charge for this service in our library, however, it is only available to NCCC students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Other library users are encouraged to use their public libraries for interlibrary loans.

Barb Melcher, Principal Library Clerk, is responsible for processing all of our ILL transactions.  Contact Barb at 716-614-6797 if you have any questions about Interlibrary Loan.
