Library Instruction Scheduling
The Library Instruction program is designed to teach students at all levels how to develop a research strategy, and how to search for, locate, and analyze information. Students learn how to search both electronic and print resources.
The program enables students to do better work and improve their grades by learning how to use an academic library effectively. Information literacy and critical thinking skills are emphasized in instruction.
Our program also addresses those who suffer from library anxiety, information overload, and computer technophobia. We will work with you on developing the best library research assignments to meet your course needs.
Because our program is so popular, we request that instructors schedule library instruction sessions at least two weeks in advance. Priority for using library resources and services will be given to classes that are scheduled.
To schedule a library instruction session, or just to bring your class in to use the Library, please call Barb Rupple at (716)614-6796 or e-mail her at rupple@niagaracc.suny.edu.
