The Henrietta G. Lewis Library makes a concerted effort to collect books and periodicals that support the curricula at Niagara County Community College. Most of the time students will be able to find enough information for their research needs right in our collection.

When we do not own material that students need for scholarly research, or when faculty members need books or periodical articles that we are unable to collect, we turn to Interlibrary Loan.

We do a tremendous volume of Interlibrary Loan. We are limited by COPYRIGHT LAW to five requests per periodical title in one calendar year.

You can request a book or photocopy of a journal article through Interlibrary Loan and typically receive it within a week or two. There is no charge for this service. However this service is only available to NCCC students, faculty, administrators, and staff. Other library users are encouraged to use their public libraries for interlibrary loans.

Kathleen Greenfield,Principal Library Clerk, is responsible for processing all of our ILL transactions. Contact Kathleen at 716.614.6784 or Jeanne Tuohey, Reference Librarian, at 716.614.6791, if you have any questions about Interlibrary Loan.
