{ NCCC to Host NETT Conference }

SANBORN, N.Y. — The Niagara County Community College Teacher Academy, in conjunction with the Orleans – Niagara Teacher Center and the Niagara Falls Teacher Center, will be hosting Niagara’s Exploration of Technology in Teaching Conference (NETT) on Aug. 26. Registration for the event closes June 12, but students are free.

The conference, geared towards pre-service teachers, college students focused on careers in education, K-12 educators, and faculty of higher education institutions, runs from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the Sanborn campus. A keynote speaker, along with numerous 50-minute workshops exploring the uses of technology in education and lunch are included in the registration.
