Roberts Named NCCC Athlete of the Week
SANBORN, N.Y. — Men’s basketball player AJ Roberts has earned the Niagara County Community College Athlete of the Week honors for the week ending February 27, 2010.
In a sub-regional game against Alfred State, Roberts had 28 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocked shots and 2 steals to lead the Trailblazers to their first playoff victory in several years. In the final four series against number one ranked Erie Community College, Roberts had 21 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocked shots and 1 steal.
Roberts, a freshman forward from Niagara Falls, NY, graduated from Niagara Catholic High School.
