RISK ASSESSMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS
(KODAK ENGINEERS ONLY)

Kodak course code: 1012

This course is recommended for safety and health professionals, engineers, equipment designers, construction firm managers, and supervisors who oversee tasks in the industrial workplace. Identifying hazards and reducing risk are fundamental to reducing and eliminating injuries in the workplace. This course will enable participants to identify hazards and risks in the workplace, determine when risk is acceptable, and effectively communicate risks to management. Safety by design, risk for maintenance and skilled trade personnel, applicable regulations and national concensus standards, and product liability and the legal implications will be covered. A highlight of the day will be a panel discussion with representatives from industry, academia, government, and the legal community. Panelists include: Art Dube, area OSHA Director; Scott DeLuca, Underberg & Kessler, LLP; representative from academia TBD; and the instructors, Dennis Cloutier and Bruce Main. This course qualifies for BCSP COC credits and ABIH CM credits.




10-HOUR CONSTRUCTION OUTREACH TRAINING
(OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

The 10-hour program is intended to provide a variety of instruction on general industry safety and health standards to entry level workers.

Course is designed for personnel such as operators, engineers, etc. Standard course to cover company posted procedures and OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.147. Two hour minimum course with no refresher required.
