The Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy was founded at NCCC in 1973. The Academy functions as a partnership with NCCC and the Criminal Justice Program under the Division of Social Sciences.

The Law Enforcement Academy conducts NYS Certified Police Academy training to law enforcement agencies and advanced training to certified police officers across Western New York. In addition, the academy provides in-service training on police topics as well as emergency medical services training to civilians and communication specialists.

It is this unique partnership that provides the criminal justice student additional opportunities and insight into the fascinating field of law enforcement.
