| Welcome
to Niagara County Tech Prep Tech-Prep is a federally funded state grant project that assists local high schools and college programs integrate academic and career content that allows students to gain college credit while in high school. Funded under the Carl Perkins Vocational and Technology Education Act of 1998 (VTEA), Tech-Prep funding allows academic and community organizations to work together and develop seamless transition processes leading to high wage careers and employment opportunities after college study in certificate, associate and bachelor degree programs. Programs of study that are presently offered are described in depth on the pages listed to the left. Click on the program names to navigate. Tech-Prep provides support for students and faculty members to engage in "applied" learning environments that relate directly to job situations and career work. Employers today are looking for people who can make a difference and offer support from the first day on the job. Tech-Prep graduates are ready to meet those challenges and standards set by employers. |
