State University of New York Niagara County Community College | Workforce Development Training Grant 2016-2017

The State University of New York (SUNY) provides funding to businesses and organizations to help ensure New York State’s workforce remains one of the best trained in the country! Through this Workforce Development Training Grant Program, Niagara County Community College is able to offer training for new employees, and to enhance skills of current employees.

Quality training can be provided in several areas including Advanced Manufacturing, Customer Service & Advanced Business Practices, and Health and Safety Concerns.

The grant allows employers to hire quality trainers through NCCC at a greatly reduced cost (approximately 10%). For example, a 10-hour course could cost as little as $70, and could include from 1 to 100 employees! Training can be scheduled at your worksite or at NCCC’s campus. All training must be scheduled by March 24, 2017, and completed by July 28, 2017.

To take advantage of this opportunity, please email with your training request. Please call 716-614-6842 or 716-614-6236 with questions.
