Academic Dismissal Appeals
You have been referred to this website because after your last semester at Niagara County Community College it was determined that you were not making successful academic progress towards your certificate or degree based on the College’s Good Academic Standing policy. The appeal process you are about to participate in is designed to identify the challenges you experienced in your previous semesters and identify ways to improve these challenges in future semesters.
Workshops are generally offered but are on hold due to COVID-19. If you have any questions, please call 716-614-6450.

What Happens Next?
When you complete the workshop and your appeal form is received, it will be reviewed by the Academic Success Team to determine if the appeal will be granted. Written notification of the Team’s decision will be sent to you via regular mail within 5 – 10 business days of the workshop.
You may be required to meet with a member of the Team. This meeting would occur before this appeal can be approved. By submitting a request, you are required to check your email account and voice mail within 72 hours of filing your request for an academic appeal. Failure to respond to a communication by email or telephone will be considered an incomplete request. Incomplete requests will be denied.
NCCC is not responsible for information received by you after deadline dates due to lack of, inaccurate, or out-of-date information on file in the Office of Records and Registration. It is the student’s responsibility to keep telephone and address information up-to-date and accurate.
