SUNY’s Got Your Back

Every day in New York, adults and children seek assistance from hospitals, rape crisis, and domestic violence shelters. Often they come in with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Money that shelters and other response organizations spend on personal care items is money that they are not spending on other crucial costs.

NCCC, your Alumni Association, the Wellness Center, and Student Life are now partnering with SUNY’s Got Your Back to help stuff comfort bags for these victims and survivors including items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, shampoo, body wash, and so much more.

NCCC has pledged to stuff 750 bags and we need your help! Join us Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 11:00am – 1:30pm inside the NCCC Sanborn 2nd Floor Cafeteria. Whether you can spend an hour or the entire time, any amount of time and help are appreciated. All alumni, employees, students, and friends of the College are welcome to participate and volunteer.

We are asking all volunteers to please let us know ahead of time that you are coming. However, if you are unable to let us know in advance that’s no problem and you are more than welcome to still come the day of at any time.
