Annual Report 2018-19

On April 3, 2019, the SUNY Niagara Wellness Center, Student Life, Student Housing and the Alumni Association led efforts to support the SUNY’s Got Your Back initiative. With the help of over 100 volunteers, SUNY Niagara reached its goal of stuffing 4,000 comfort bags for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The bags were then dispersed to shelters and hospitals in Niagara County and throughout New York State. Volunteers from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department, Orleans-Niagara BOCES Allied Health Class, students from area schools and the YWCA assisted to make this event successful.
