SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference
NCCC was one of three host sites statewide for the fifth annual SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference (SURC). The event brought together over 300 students and faculty mentors from across the SUNY system for a full day of activities, including oral presentations, performances, artistic displays, and poster presentations by students. Additionally, there was a SUNY Graduate School and Career Fair, professional development workshops for students and faculty, as well as a keynote speaker from the Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper. Jo Johnson, an Ecological Planner with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper discussed Tackling Legacy Pollutants & Emerging Threats to Protect Western New York’s Waters.
