Maurice Jackson

Student Trustee

Appointed 2020 / Current term expires 2022

A Niagara Falls native, Maurice Jackson was recently re-elected as the Student Trustee of the NCCC Board of Trustees. He is in his fifth semester at NCCC, working towards a dual major in the Business Administration and Accounting programs.

Maurice has been a part of the Student Government Association since August 2019.  He serves on several committees and student positions including:  Student Ambassador for Student Life and Admissions, Vice President of the Practical Business Club, and Membership Outreach Chair of the NCCC Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success. During his limited free time, Maurice is a member of the NCCC Wrestling team.

Maurice Jackson comments, “Truth, trust, hope, and opportunity – these four words are what keep me motivated to be the best representative for the students that I can be. I am honored to be re-elected as the trustee representing students for a second term; and, being a leader within Niagara reminds me of what I am so very passionate about – serving the students and being a vocal asset to my NCCC family.”

After NCCC, Maurice plans to transfer to a four-year college, and eventually work for a marketing firm, as well as open his own business, potentially getting into politics in the future.
