Maurice Jackson

Student Trustee

Appointed 2020 / Current term expires 2021

Niagara Falls native, Maurice Jackson was recently elected as the Student Trustee of the NCCC Board of Trustees.  He is in his third semester at NCCC.

Maurice has been a part of the Student Government Association since August 2019, holding various student positions including Freshman Senator, Student Ambassador, current President of the Practical Business Club, and Membership Outreach Chair of the NCCC Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success.  During his limited free time, Maurice is a member of the NCCC Wrestling team.

Maurice Jackson comments “that dedication and motivation are what my focus is on; attending NCCC provides me with a voice for the students, and providing a bridge linking the administration to the students through service is something that makes me happy and I hope an asset to the NCCC Family.  I am honored to be elected as the trustee representing students, and allowing me the opportunity to be an asset to NCCC.”

After NCCC, Maurice plans to transfer to a four-year college, and eventually work for a marketing firm, as well as opening his own business.
