Bonnie R. Sloma

Bonnie R. Sloma was appointed to the NCCC Board of Trustees by the Niagara County Legislature in 2008. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Trustees and is a member of the Academic/Student Life Committee.
Sloma, a 30-year veteran of the health care industry, is a Senior Vice President of People Inc. in charge of business development and quality standards. She is currently working with Mobile Healthcare Partners, developing a Telehealth Program for the underserved population. Sloma, the 2019 Business First WNY Outstanding Women of Influence for Innovation winner, a 35-year veteran of the health care industry, is a Senior Vice President of People Inc., in charge of business development and quality standards. She also works as a consultant with Mobile Healthcare Partners Inc., developing a Telehealth Program for the underserved population. She was formerly the Vice President of Ambulatory and Diagnostic Services at Erie County Medical Center.
From 2004 to June, 2012, Sloma held the position of Vice President of Heritage Health Care Group, LLC and Administrative Consultant & Vice President of Clinical Services/Director of Nursing at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence.
Sloma also worked at Lockport Memorial Hospital as Director of Nursing, Medical, Surgical and Critical Care. At Beechwood Residence and Nursing Home she was the Assistant Director of Nursing/JCAHO and at United Church Colony Home she was the Nursing Supervisor/Director of Nursing. From 1988 to 1993 she was a nursing instructor at NCCC. Sloma began her career at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo as a staff nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Sloma graduated from Niagara University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
