Gina I. Virtuoso

Appointed 2009 / Current term expires 2023

Gina I. Virtuoso was reappointed to the SUNY Niagara Board of Trustees by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to a seven-year term on the board.

She currently serves on the Board of Trustees and  the Fiscal Committee.  Virtuoso is a past member of the New York Community College Trustees (NYCCT), SUNY Niagara Foundation Board, the Middle States Steering Committee, and a Presidential Partner with the SUNY Niagara Foundation.  Virtuoso is currently a member of Blue Star Mothers of America.

Virtuoso received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting from Niagara University.

Virtuoso is retired from the Occidental Chemical Corporation where she worked for 20 years, holding the position of Senior Corporate Accountant, as well as other accounting positions.

Virtuoso is a past member of the Professional Accountants and Biltmore Who’s Who.  She was a member of the St. Francis Guild Board of Directors, Chairperson of the Festival of Sweets, United Way volunteer, and volunteer for former Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. Virtuoso was a Co-Chairperson for the Niagara Catholic Auction, was a member of the Niagara Catholic Parent Association and is currently a member of Holy Family.

Virtuoso is married to Dennis Virtuoso. They have one son, Dennis, and daughter-in-law DeAnna, Granddaughter Ava Grace.  Gina also has two step children Gina and Vincent, and four grandsons Nicholas, Josh, Mason and Vinnie.
