Cashier – Dining Services

POSITION CATEGORY:

Part – time position reporting to the snack bar supervisor

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the snack bar supervisor, the cashier is responsible for operating the POS/Cash register in dining service area to ensure accurate transactions and a smooth flow of customer traffic.

  • Maintenance of stock levels and cleanliness throughout the shift
  • Processing of customer transactions, receiving and completion of payment
  • Preparation of work areas for efficiency
  • Completion of tasks as directed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous cash handling experience preferred. The qualified candidate must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be a reliable team member.  Customer service skills are preferred.  The candidate must be able to stand for long period of time. May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.

Pay rate is very competitive with similar positions and will take past experience into consideration.

Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
