On Saturday, December 16, 2017, the 1977-1978 Men’s Basketball team celebrated their 40^th reunion. The finalist team ended their season 26-1 at the NJCAA National Championship game in Hutchinson, Kansas. With over 13,000 in attendance NCCC lost to Independence Community College at the buzzer ending in a final score of 62-61. The team was honored during half time at NCCC’s Men’s Basketball game against Onondaga CC with t-shirts, a throwback video, food, drinks, and more.
