It is her goal to teach Special Education at a school in Western New York.What the DSS Award Means to Her: The DSS Scholarship allowed me to receive an education without the concernof finances. She would also like to join their 4+1 program which will allow her to attend another year while earning her Masters Degree and CPA.What the DSS Award Means to Her: To me, the DSS Scholarship meant that I could start my education in a wonderful environment without the stress of affording it. I was able to focus more on myacademics and saving for my future endeavors. During her time there, she hopes to be able to study abroad to learn more about cultural, physical, and linguistic anthropology while improving her own language skills. What the DSS Award Means to Her: For me, the DSS Scholarship is proof of my hard work and achievements. WhenI received this scholarship, it was a reminder that anything is possible throughhonest work, always trying my best, and dedicating myself to learning and education.
