About the Center

The mission of the Dolce Volvo Art Center is to provide an accessible space to foster appreciation and understanding of art and the creative process through direct engagement with original works created by professional and student artists. We welcome students, faculty, artists, alumni, and the wider public to come enjoy and experience the fantastic events and exhibitions that are on display throughout the year at the Dolce Volvo Art Center.

“Finding Refuge in Buffalo”

An exhibition by Jody K. Biehl & Brendon Bannon with the UB School of Journalism

Opening Reception & Guest Lecture:

Join us in conversation with curator Jody K. Biehl and Rwandan refugee Rubens Mukunzi on February 13th for a discussion on the experience of seeking refuge in Buffalo.

“Boundaries, Borders & Walls”

A participatory exhibition featuring a mosaic of miniature canvases by artist Albert Gilewicz.

Exhibition Dates: March 24 – April 16
