SUNY Niagara is committed to strategically recruiting, retaining, developing, and advancing underrepresented faculty, staff, and administrators in order to increase overall diversity aligned with New York State demographics. In addition, the College will explore opportunities to hire adjunct professors to teach relevant and new courses to increase student understanding of JEDI concepts.

Title IX

SUNY Niagara follows and upholds Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972. This policy prohibits sex discrimination in all educational programs and activities. Sex discrimination includes all forms of sexual harassment, including verbal sexual harassment and sexual violence by employees, students, or third parties against employees, students, or third parties.

SUNY Niagara is fully compliant with Title IX and applies compliance to athletics, admissions, financial aid, academic matters, career services, counseling and medical services, and all other programs/activities available to students, as well as in the workplace for faculty and staff.
