SUNY Niagara will host a Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 8 at 11:30 AM on the Sanborn campus. The ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, NY 14132. The event is free and open to the public.
The annual ceremony will include keynote remarks by New York State Senator, Robert G. Ortt. Ortt, who represents the 62nd District and sits on the Senate Committee for Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs. In addition to his political career, Ortt was enlisted in the New York Army National Guard and received the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, the Afghan Campaign Medal, and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge in recognition of his service.
Refreshments will be served immediately after the ceremony in the Notar Administration Building lobby on the Sanborn campus.
