“Voice-Over Techniques for Film & Video”
David Autovino
Actor David Autovino provides a crash course for artists interested in voice over, either as a performer or as a content producer. What are the need-to-know technical basics for recording? How do directors find actors, and how do actors find work? What are the best ways to achieve the perfect performance in the recording booth? A veteran of national, regional and local commercial campaigns, commercially-published video games, countless web ads, as well as a director, casting director and audio producer for both commercial and indie-film projects, David’s years of experience on both sides of the recording studio will help jump-start your audio ambitions.
A proud member of Actors’ Equity Association with a BFA in Theatre Studies, David draws upon his extensive classical and musical theatre experience to bring characters to life. After starring alongside NFL star Michael Strahan in a popular series of national commercials, his career shifted to voiceover, commercials and film. He now serves voiceover clients around the world from his studio-quality recording booth, using top-of-the-line industry-standard equipment to deliver pitch-perfect results every take.
