Veterans Park

October 13, 2021

Niagara County Community College (NCCC) will be relocating and expanding its existing Veterans Memorial Park to honor the Niagara County veteran community. This park will not only represent those who served in the armed forces, but will also offer community programming to celebrate its’ proud heritage of military service.

Area veterans, their families, and NCCC alumni and employees are invited to memorialize their service and those of their loved ones on the park’s new monument (alive or deceased). Veterans’ names and military branch of service will be engraved on the memorial wall, benches, and flagpoles for a donation of $150 or more. Veterans will be honored annually during NCCC’s Veteran’s Day ceremonies.

The new site will include a pentagonal-shaped concrete pad with a memorial wall separated into 3 distinct sections, two new flagpoles affixed with the American flag and POW flag, and reflection benches. The new picturesque location will be surrounded by landscaping along with a walkway leading directly to and from the parking lot for easy accessibility.
