Classic French Macarons - During this hands-on 2 hour class you will prepare classic French Macarons. Learn how to prepare a fluffy French meringue, mix and pipe the batter to complete crisp shells with perfect "feet". While waiting for the shells to rest and bake, we will create a creamy French buttercream to fill our macarons, as well as chocolate ganache. Lastly, we will be doing some advanced techniques to finish and decorate the macarons using chocolate, gold leaf and dried flowers.

Learn how to pair your risotto with complementary flavors and techniques. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a kitchen novice, this class is perfect for anyone who wants to elevate their culinary skills.

12:15-1:45 pm Savor Restaurant John Pope Shellfish Fabrication – Cleaning and Preparing Oysters - We will be introducing the procedure for cleaning, shucking, and preparing oysters. After cleaning and shucking the oysters we will discuss both raw and cooked oyster preparations. The class will practice how to properly serve “Oysters on the Half Shell” as well as “Oysters Rockefeller”

2-3:30 pm Savor Restaurant Dan DiPirro Serving Your Guests; Food Statins to Family Style

- We will present and serve the food that was prepared in Chef Pope's class

- Discuss the proper set up and placement of food and service items

- Cover all aspects of the service, from timing with guest arrival to clean up

- Show multiple ways to serve, from display table to family style.

This session will introduce Argos to new users and show the steps to searching for and pulling data from that system. Argos is intended for transactional data that typically will be delivered in a spreadsheet format. Transactional data are typically fairly detailed and will sometimes not have any aggregation, meaning that you can download a lot of data and then work that data in another tool.
