Withdrawal /Exit Counseling

Students who wish to withdraw from the College must do so through Records and Registration Office. Students who are undecided about withdrawing from SUNY Niagara or would like to discuss their options can make an appointment for an Academic Counseling session. Exit counseling is provided to assist students in understanding alternatives to, and outcomes of, withdrawing from the College.

If I need to withdraw due to extenuating circumstances, will I still have to pay for the classes?

If you have circumstances, such as illness or a death in the family, you may file an appeal for bill cancellation. Completion of the Charge Reversal Request form and supporting documentation are required. Check with the Cashier’s Office (A-205) for details.

You are encouraged to speak to a counselor in Student Success Center (D-102) to discuss alternatives to and ramifications of withdrawing from all classes.

Questions? Stop by D-102 or call 716-614-6290.
