Student Government Association Elections
These days there is so much uncertainty and confusion around us, I’m one of the people that can show everyone that all hope isn’t lost, we can always make the world a better place if only we just work together more and cared for one another more often. I love being a leader, and I’m willing to be a voice for anyone that might be scared to have an opinion or act on it. I would never put down another student, coworker, or anyone for that matter. That’s not how problems get solved, matters only get worse when we don’t put our heads together. Thank you for your time.
Hello, my name is Emily Seymour. I am a freshman at Niagara County Community College. The reason why I would like to become a member of the student government is so that I could learn more leadership positions and so I could become more involved with the school. I think I am the best candidate for this position because I like to help other’s out I also like to be adventurous. I also like to help others out.
In what is supposed to be one of the most exciting, fulfilling moments of our lives, we are experiencing unprecedented turmoil and uncertainty. As a student, as well as a mother, I understand the importance of keeping a positive, goal-orientated attitude, and approaching each day with gratitude and appreciation in my heart. For me, the school has always been a place of comfort and refuge-which is why I would like the opportunity to help provide that same sense of peace to others. As a member of a racially and culturally diverse household, I believe I possess two very important qualities for this leadership role-acceptance and approachability. In our NCCC community, I want to be not only a leader but also a friend.
With the position of Student Trustee, I’d be able to take my leadership position on campus one step higher, all while having the members of the NCCC Family’s interests at heart.
