NCCC Driver Training and Safety Courses
Driver Education – New Classes Coming Soon!
The NCCC Driver Education Program is a total of 48 hours consisting of in-car observation, behind-the-wheel, and classroom training. Please note that all in-car learning will be done with parent/adult supervision and NCCC direction. Upon successful completion, most students are eligible for insurance discounts and a senior operator’s license. Note: Five-hour course IS included in instructional hours.
Hours of Instruction: 48 hours -24 of instruction and 24 in car with parent/adult supervision (18 in-car observation, and 6 behind the wheel)
Days/Times: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays: Tues/Thurs: 4:00-5:30 p.m.; Saturday: 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. Make up date: TBD
Location: First and last session will be held on campus Room E-142, All others live via Zoom
Cost: $500
**Limited to 36 participants**
*NCCC reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses due to insufficient enrollment. Proof of Covid vaccination required for all in-person courses.
