Paramedic Refresher

This course is based on the NYS DOH EMS Paramedic Refresher curriculum. To retain NYS DOH EMS certification, all EMS personnel must refresh their certification every three years. Students must have NYS DOH-Paramedic certification, expired or not. Candidates who wish to challenge are required to attend the challenge evaluation. An American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification is also included in this course. The balance of the sessions will be scheduled with the course coordinator. This course is offered in the Fall and Spring semesters.  Paramedics will be tested on the new Educational Standards.
