b'A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTSince arriving at SUNY Niagara this past summer, I have been impressed over and over. The warm welcome I received in Julyfrom the colleges board of trustees, its executive team, the college foundation and association, Niagara County representatives and elected officials who represent western New York in Albanymeant so much to me professionally, but also personally. I knew for certain right away that Id come to a special place. The start of the fall semester brought our students, the faculty and the incredible energy of both back to campus. I have enjoyed learning about their aspirations for our future. These will shape the colleges next strategic plan, a shared vision of progress in service to all who seek a brighter tomorrow.SUNY Niagara is a beautiful story that continues to unfold. Our charge is to evolve intentionally. We must empower all campus employees to contribute to our success and grow in their positions. In September, we launched a job satisfaction survey that will inform workplace enhancements and decisions about how best to support professional development.SUNY has entrusted to me the stewardship not only of a campus, but of a thriving hub of learning, culture and community. I am confident that the same care and skill that has kept the institution on solid ground financially and generated enrollment gains in 2023 and 2024 will continue to propel SUNY Niagara forward. What an exciting time to be here!Lloyd A. Holmes, Ph.D.SUNY Niagara President2 SUNY NIAGARA'
