Birchard, an All-American sophomore, was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers with pick No. 155 in the fifth round. Morse, an NCCC freshman, was selected by the Texas Rangers with pick No. 531 in the 18th round.Birchard is the highest NCCC draft pick since head coach Matt Clingersmith took over the program in 2006.
