b'CELEBRATING SUCCESSEventsCommencementThe 58th annual commencement ceremony at Niagara County Community College (NCCC) took place on Saturday, May 14 at the Sanborn campus. More than 250 students crossed the stage to receive their degree.Graduates and guests enjoyed remarks by Student Government President, Ally Alverson, faculty member Dr. James Murphy and keynote speaker, SUNY Trustee Eunice Lewin.Making this commencement ceremony especially unique was the incorporation of the official inauguration of William J. Murabito, Ph.D. as the 7th president of NCCC. President Murabito served the college as interim president since 2017, and was officially selected to be the leader of the college in November of 2019.His inauguration was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Nursing Pinning CeremonyThe nursing community gained 90 Registered Nurses and Practical Nursing graduates during the 2021-2022 academic year.
