b'LOOKING BACKYear in ReviewVeterans Memorial ParkFor the past year, NCCC has been making plans to relocate and expand their existing Veterans Memorial Park to honor the Niagara County veteran community. This new park will represent those who served in the armed forces, as well asoffer community programming to celebrate its proud heritage of military service.Area veterans, their families, and NCCC alumni and employees are invited to memorialize their service and those of their loved ones on the parks new monument (alive or deceased). Veterans names and military branch of service will be engraved on the memorial wall, benches, and flagpoles for a donation of $150 or more.The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 268 donated $20,000 to the new monument park.In addition, the class of 2022 also made a $20,000 donation, bringing the College closer to its $250,000 goal for the park. The new site will include accessible walkways, a memorial wall, three new flagpoles, and a plaque honoring veterans as well as forgotten veterans.
