The Public Safety Office advises all students to never leave valuables such as backpacks, purses, or books unattended.It only takes a moment for a thief to walk away with your belongings. Lost & Found is also housed in the Public Safety Office. Please notify the Public Safety Office of any domestic or privacy issues. The Public Safety Office maintains a listing of students who do not want any personal information to be dispensed. Cards Student I.D. Cards are issued through the Public Safety Office.The Public Safety Department produces I.D. cards Monday- Friday 8am-6pm.All students must have a government issued identification with a current picture and a printed schedule to obtain an I.D. card.The I.D. card is necessary for library use, computer use, athletic equipment, and may contain money for printing, meal plans and for purchasing items at our bookstore. Should your I.D. card be lost or stolen, contact Public Safety immediately to avoid use by someone else.Replacement I.D. cards are $9.00 at the cashier office.LockersInformation pertaining on how to obtain a locker will be posted on all locker areas except lockers in the Mens and Ladies locker rooms (H Bldg). Lockers located inside the Mens and Ladies locker rooms are on a first come first serve basis.The College is not responsible for any loss or damage to items left in lockers.Valuable items, including books, should never be left in lockers.For all other areas outside the HPE locker rooms, information is posted or you can stop by Public Safety.ParkingParking facilities are located in the front and back of the college. Parking regulations are strictly enforced.Medical Reserved Parking (handicap spaces) is for student, faculty, and staff with medical disabilities. Vehicles without permits will be ticketed and/or towed. Reserved Areas for faculty and staff are in each lot. Any car parked in this area without the proper permit displayed will be ticketed. Restricted areas include: roadways, sidewalks, and lawn areas. Day Care Parking is 15 minutes. A permit may be obtained at the Day Care Center. Parking lot 2 is designated for visitors to the campus. There must be a yellow line on both sides of the parking space. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed, as will those cars taking up more than one space.
