Their main function is the budgeting of Student Activities Fees, set policies, plan programs, and service as student leaders on campus. All students are welcome to run for a seat on SGA.Elections are held each fall and spring. Spirit NewspaperThe SPIRIT is a student run newspaper funded by your Student Activities fees. It comes out on a Monday and is distributed around campus free of charge. It is an excellent source for college news. There are 5 issues a semester.Students are welcome to submit letters or articles, and to join the staff.Co-Curricular Transcript This program enables students to officially document their involvement, growth, and development at NCCC.Co-Curricular involvement is the combination of college-related activities beyond the classroom and the benefits associated with those experiences. Involvement includes, but is not limited to participation in student clubs and organizations, volunteer and community service projects, or interaction with faculty, staff, and administration. Posting Information on Campus All college sponsored clubs/organizations or departments may post announcements of upcoming events once approved by the Student Life office (e.g., speakers, events, club meetings, etc.) in designated locations around campus. Those may take advantage of the TV Monitors to advertise activities. Uninvited or unapproved enterprises and solicitations by external agents are prohibited. Please note some of the posting policies have changed for 2019-2020 year.Contact us to get permission to post information in designated areas and most up-to-date information.Campus PantryThis pantry is a non-perishable pantry only, along with providing miscellaneous toiletry items. Currently the campus pantry is an online ordering system, where students can request 10 items each week and can pick them up on their assigned weekday.
